Moist heat and most heat packs help treat chronic pain and acute pain, ease stiffness and soreness, and relieve aches and pains. The heat packs are pliable when heated and will conform to any part of the body, making them ideal for post-injury recovery and post-workout. When compared to dry heat, moist heat is more effective in deeper tissue heating and penetrates further into the tissue. The heating unit has an adjustable temperature control. When the unit has reached its desired temperature it features a glowing orange light that illuminates. For best results use moist heat packs at 160 degrees. The heater can store and heat up to six relief packs (included) and runs on 220V. The unit’s stationary design allows it to easily sit on countertops. The unit is made from durable stainless steel, which retains heat and keeps it from dispersing out of the unit which prevents it from being too hot and burning users. Before use, handle the pack by the corner tab and cover or wrap in a towel. The heat packs are reusable. The unit is easy to clean once drained by using a soft cloth, sponge or non abrasive cleaning pad to wipe down. To clean the surfaces use non-abrasive detergents and mild soaps. Do not use cleaners with high chlorine contents such as bleach. Do not use steel wool.
