What are the Guidelines for “Getting Started” for Your First DNA Jazz Band Session and Follow up Treatments

Insert the Jazz Band into slot of the wearable pouch/fabric sleeve with the white surface (which will be placed against skin) of the Jazz Band visible through the black mesh. The short electrical cord should protrude through the pouch via the longer edge of the insertion slot.

Attach either end of the elastic securement band to the surface of the pouch opposite the mesh fabric. The hook tabs on the elastic band will cling to the loop fabric on the surface of the pouch, and also to the fabric on the elastic band.

Before plugging in the Jazz Band, place the Jazz Band on the body area to receive treatment -- mesh side placed comfortable against your skin and secure with the elastic securement band.

Caring for Your DNA Jazz Band

Here are reasonable use and care guidelines for your DNA Jazz Band.

1. Do not bend the Jazz Band excessively: Your Jazz Band is designed with the flexibility needed to wrap around various limbs and joints; however, please wrap it gently and do not flex the device beyond what is necessary to secure it in place. The Jazz Band is designed to flex primarily along its length. While it is flexible in all dimensions, avoid bending or flexing the device around its width. Do not wrap the device more tightly than is necessary and avoid rolling the device.
2. Do not stretch or pull on your Jazz Band or its cord: While the Jazz Band is designed to be flexible (bending or wrapping), excessive stretching, tugging or pulling in any direction can damage the device.
3. Do not apply excessive pressure forces against the Jazz Band. Do not kneel on your knees or lean on your elbows when wearing the device on your knee or elbow, or apply any heavy pressure to the Jazz Band at any time.
4. Store your Jazz Band in a cool area and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat source. Direct exposure to sunlight or other heat source (ambient temperature should not exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit) can cause over-heating and damage to the device.
5. Electrical Safety. Do not use your Jazz Band if the device, electrical cord, or power adapter are damaged. While your Jazz Band is water resistant, avoid wetting or submerging your Jazz Band, and keep all electrical connections free from moisture.
6. Optical Safety. Your Jazz Band emits low levels of red light, near infrared light, and magnetic signals. While these low-level signals are both safe and effective, it is advisable that you do not stare directly into coherent light sources like those emitted by the device. Before turning on your Jazz Band (by starting a “Session”), it should be secured in place (see above, “How do You Apply the DNA Jazz Band to Different Body Parts) with the white surface through which light and other signals are emitted facing toward your skin (see Usage instructions). This will keep the red light, near infrared light and other signals safely out of direct line of sight. Please note that near infrared light is generally not visible, and some users may not see red light, so please follow these safety guidelines every time your device is operating.

Use on Pets. While individuals are using the DNA Jazz Band on their animals with good success, do not let pets chew on it as it may damage or destroy the band.

The Full DNA Vibe Hardware Limited Warranty Statement

The DNA Jazz Band product is guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty is subject to full compliance by all users of the product with the Reasonable Use and Care Guidelines above. If this product is defective, please contact DNA Vibe’s Customer Service team here. If a defect covered by this Limited Warranty is determined to have occurred, then DNA Vibe will, in its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law, repair or replace your device with a new or refurbished device with functionality at least equivalent to the defective device you purchased, or accept the return of your device in exchange for a refund of the purchase price which you paid for your device. If DNA Vibe repairs or replaces your device, the new device will be warranted for the balance of time remaining in the original warranty of the device you purchased. This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in locations where the Device is sold by DNA Vibe. This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware components (and not any software elements) of the device.
